Visit De Krook during the New European Bauhaus Festival
On Friday 12 June, De Krook in Ghent hosts a satellite event of the New European Bauhaus Festival. This guided visit shows how NEB values — sustainability, inclusion and aesthetics — are translated into practice in an award‑winning public building. De Krook brings together culture, inclusion, research and digital innovation in an open civic space.
What to expect
Participants take part in an interactive guided tour of De Krook and its ecosystem of partners, including the public library, research labs and citizen participation and digital inclusion initiatives. The programme offers insights into architecture and quality of experience in transdisciplinary collaborations. While the final agenda is still being confirmed, the visit will combine short introductions, site visits and dialogue. The afternoon ends with informal networking on the terrace overlooking Ghent.
