Visit De Krook during the New European Bauhaus Festival

On Friday 12 June at 14:00, De Krook hosts a satellite event of the New European Bauhaus Festival for professionals and innovators working in libraries, culture, architecture, research and digital innovation. The visit offers a unique opportunity to discover how Ghent translates NEB values – sustainability, inclusion and beauty - into practice.

Through a guided tour, exchanges with partners and networking, participants gain insight into how De Krook and its partners connect research, creativity, digital innovation and citizen participation to shape inclusive and future‑proof urban spaces.

Ghent is also present in Brussels, where the Urban Renewal Service speaks on 11 June in the NEB festival session “From participation to self-sufficiency”, presenting Muide-Meulestede as a participatory, climate-ready neighbourhood model.
